For SVN access, you need autoconf 2.59 (or newer) and automake 1.9 (or newer). To update your checked out sources, type:

svn up
./prepare

The snapshot may be updated in the same manner. The ./prepare step can be left out as long as neither configure.ac nor any of the Makefile.am files have been modified. ~~Check ins into SVN are posted automatically to the climm-svn mailing list.~~
